About Us | HBIQ Sports Corp

HBIQ Academy is a 38 week hockey development program built for motivated players in Grade 5 and above who are ready for a more structured approach to training, learning, and long term growth. Based in Vernon, with Kal Tire Place North serving as the main hub, the program brings together ice time, off ice training, and schooling in one organized academy experience.

Throughout the program, students receive 152 hours of ice time, 172 hours of off ice training, and 570 hours of schooling. Academic learning is supported through the SIDES program, with an in person certified school teacher helping students stay on track while they continue developing as athletes. Groups are kept small, with 10 kids per group and multiple groups available. Players are grouped by skill level, creating a training environment that allows each athlete to be challenged, supported, and developed at the right pace.

A typical academy day includes 8:00 am drop off, school from 8:00 to 9:30, travel to the rink at 9:45, ice from 10:30 to 11:30, gym training from 12:15 to 1:15, and additional school time from 1:15 to 2:45 pm.
